SABI Tea Arts is a space for experiencing and learning about chanoyu (Japanese tea tradition), kōdō (the Japanese Way of Incense) and related arts. The eight-mat tea room offers space for long-term formal study or simply as a contemplative setting for enjoying a bowl of tea as a one-time guest.
Introducing The Dōjin Japanese Arts Society
Most of our public programs are now being presented through our non-profit partner, Dōjin Arts, which offers a wide range of traditional Japanese arts programming, including tea and incense, but also presenting experts on a wide range of other cultural and fine arts of Japan. Dōjin Arts programming focuses on interactive and experiences and educational programs that foster a deeper understanding of Japanese culture and heritage.
