Short-term classes and workshops

For those new to matcha in general, or to Japanese tea or incense tradition, we offer introductory workshops and short-term courses on various themes for those who are looking to learn more but are not able to commit to formal arts training.​

Chanoyu and Kōdō formal study

For those who wish to delve deeper into the Way of Tea, formalized study can offer a lifetime of learning and refining of our understanding of Japan, the arts, and the world around us. We offer on-going training in Chanoyu tea practice in the Omotesenke tradition. ​

Monthly Kōdō Sessions

For those interested in learning about Kōdō, the Way of Japanese incense, we offer monthly sessions on different seasonal topics and themes.
